My main research area concerns the study of institutions and social networks in explaining economic behavior. Current research topics include the emergence of distinct institutional arrangements in transition ecobomies, the emergence of entrepreneurial and innovation clusters in developing and developed economies. Methods applied include quantitative and qualitative survey methods, experimental games and tasks as well as standard tools of social network analysis.
