Research

My research centers primarily around the area of Statistics and Probability, with special emphasis on applied statistical/probabilistic models. In particular, I study excursion sets of random fields as a tool to understand, and characterise extreme statistics. Such studies have potential applications in areas ranging from cosmology to brain mapping. In one of my recent works, I studied some large scale behavior of large random graphs, which aims to characterise various graph models. Lately, I have also been involved in analysing certain datasets involving complex spatio-temporal dependence.
