I am currently doing a PhD on the decarbonisation of the steel industry. The main project I am currently involved in is HYBRIT RP1, funded by the Swedish Energy Agency. Within its focus on the development of a fossil-free value chain for steel production I study how climate and industrial policy can have an impact on the decarbonisation of the sector.

Theoretically and methodologically, my research so far has drawn on scenario development, policy evaluation and techno-economic assessment.

I am responisble for a course given at Environmental and Energy Systems Studies at LTH:

- FMIF20/TFRF55 Environmental issues 7.5 credits, an open course (fristående kurs) that provides an overview across global environmental problems, with much space for students to deepen their knowledge on topics of their choice.

On occasions I am also involved in lectures and seminars in other courses around climate, policy, basic materials and industry, and have co-supervised master and bachelor students on these topics.
