Associate Professor Yang De Marinis, PhD, is a principle investigator at Lund University Diabetes Centre, Sweden. Her research team is focusing on epigenetics and genetics of diabetes complications, as well as regulation mechanisms of metabolic disorders and multi-centre clinical cohort studies. Currently the group is leading in several cutting edge technologies including genome-wide chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing, genome engineering by CRISPR/Cas9, machine learning in AI application on clinical cohort studies, and various cell biology and molecular genetic methods.
