Battlefield and War Grave Tourism after World War II
Each year, thousands of people visit WW II battlefields and war graves. Who are these people, why do they go and what do they do there? How did the individual and collective meanings of battlefield and war grave tours change from WW II until today? The project consists of three case studies investigating travellers, organisations offering such tours, and destinations.
