Figuring Flesh in Creation: Merleau-Ponty in Conversation with Philosophical Theology
In my dissertation I seek to relate contemporary philosophical ontology and anthropology to philosophical theology. Merleau-Ponty and Augustine are at the centre and the main question concerns the relation between human being and the natural world. How to think human being as part of nature and still preserve its integrity as human? Our understanding of human being and nature is ever intertwined.
