This PhD project concerns the influence of gender inclusive language in French on text readability. Gender inclusive language, langage inclusif, can be done using several different strategies: chercheur-euses (shortened doublets), chercheurs et chercheuses (complete doublets), l'équipe de recherche (collective nouns) or chercheureuses (neologisms).

More specifically, the project aims to study the influence of different kind of gender inclusive strategies on readability by means of eye tracking technology.
