Knowledge systems in crisis: Analytic philosophy of science and the humanities drift apart.

Project: Research

Layman's description

The project’s main issue is: How did the Swedish analytic philosophy of science contribute to install, legitimate and sustain the postwar period scientific and academic culture? How did it contribute to internalize the sciences' pretensions to be the most authoritative form of knowledge? The focus is on the “trading zones” that connects philosophy of science and the humanities.
