The aim of this study is to develop and test a novel training program integrating dynamic motor imagery in physical exercise programs for treatment following knee injury.
Dynamic Motor Imagery (DMI) involves using a person's own experiences to create a situation which is both realistic and relevant to the individual, in this case specifically in terms of sport.
Integrating this form of mental training into a rehabilitation program that follows best-evidence recommendations has not been done.
