Multi-scale dynamical modelling of T-cell development from an early thymic progenitor state to lineage commitment

The development of committed pro-T-cells from multipotent hematopoietic precursors offers an unique opportunity to dissect the molecular circuitry establishing cell identity in response to thymic signals. We have developed, explored and validated an integrated computational multi-scale model for T-cell commitment kinetics at the early developmental stages. Commitment of early multipotent precursors to the T-cell fate is particularly accessible for modelling because, at the single-cell level, commitment corresponds to the activation of Bcl11b gene
