Description
Eye-tracking at Lund University Primate Research Station Furuvik is conducted remotely, using a Smart Eye system, with data capture based on individual head profiles for the chimpanzees (Pan troglodytes) and Sumatran orang-utans (Pongo abelii) housed at Furuvik Zoo. The aims of the current project are related to infrastructure and methodological consolidation. Existing head profiles are verified and actualised, and new profiles are created for the individuals that have moved to the Station in recent years. Pilot data for several planned studies is also acquired for the purposes of method development.
