Technologically Enhanced Language learning and its Effect on the Brain
Our prime objective with TELEB is to better understand what happens in the brain when adults acquire a new language, and to what extent immersion affects performance during associative word learning. We want to get to the bottom of why some people have an easier time learning (a new language) than others and how we can choose ideal training contexts for individual learner based on their cognitive and neural profiles. This knowledge will help us to create new teaching tools for schools or higher education.
