The Openness Metaphor - Contemporary Understandings of the Digital
Research areas and keywords
This project uses conceptual metaphor theory to study how contemporary internet is understood, particularly focusing the metaphor of "open" and "openness". The results are argued to be of relevance for how businesses and regulation of the digital domain develop, along with how we understand and think of new media and culture.
