The project concerns a small Roman farmstead, villa rustica, excavated in 1958-60, that was never fully published. The aim is to publish the excavated pottery dated from the middle of the second century BC to the middle of the first century AD. It also involves a reevaluation of the reconstruction of the farmstead made at the time of excavation.

Layman's description

Villa Sambucco is a small farmstead that was excavated in the late 1950ies. The pottery found at the excavation dates the farmstead to the late Republican early Imperial period.
