N2 - This article is a review of a book by the Swedish ethnologist Billy Ehn. The book gives a description and analysis of the events when four departments were integrated into one. The writing of the book resulted in a conflict that forced Ehn to resign as the dean of the newly created department. One reason for his resignation was that the staff of the department felt that they had not been properly informed in advance about that Ehn was writing the book. These events are discussed in the book and in the review.
