Abstract

Nontypeable Haemophilus influenzae (NTHi) causes acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD). Interleukin (IL)-17A is central for neutrophilic inflammation, and has been linked to COPD pathogenesis.
