N2 - Polarization transfer solid-state NMR is shown to give molecular-level information about both dissolved and solid cellulose in aqueous dissolution media with sodium hydroxide or tetrabutylammonium hydroxide, thus paving the way for future studies of the molecular details of cellulose dissolution.
