Infrastructure consolidation for remote eye-tracking with great an lesser apes at Lund University Primate Research Station Furuvik
Projekt: Forskning
Beskrivning
The project is aimed at updating and consolidating the eye-tracking infrastructure at Lund University Primate Research Station Furuvik. Remote eye-tracking is a relatively novel, yet very promising approach for the study of cognition in nonhuman species. This approach bypasses a number of issues associated with traditional performance-based experiments, and enables less biased comparisons between species with similar vision such as humans and the other great apes. Thanks to the infrastructure developments envisaged by the project, eye-tracking research could be conducted in a more time- and cost-efficient manner than currently possible.
