NORDIC CITIZENS’ ARGUMENTATION LITERACY – FROM CHALLENGES TO SOLUTIONS

Beskrivning

Despite the recent increase of research on the new media landscape, we still know little of voters’ and consumers’ ability to understand argumentation. NOCAL will better our understanding of how people understand argumentation about current societal and political issues, and, based on this data, draw out guidelines for how argumentation literacy should be described in educational curricula. In a media landscape of uncertainty, we believe argumentation literacy to be the sustainable long-term solution.
