Forskningsoutput: TidskriftsbidragArtikel i vetenskaplig tidskrift

Abstract

A preliminary report is given of a follow-up study of 1,439 patients with a previous diagnosis of rheumatic fever and its equivalents, rheumatic valvular heart disease and some 101 cases with a diagnosis of congenital heart disease, treated at the Malmö General Hospital during 1930—1950. Data are presented concerning age and sex distribution of the patients at the first rheumatic attack, incidence of various valvular heart lesions and relationship between rheumatic attack-rate and development of valvular lesions.
