This PhD course with Hartmut Rosa will offer participants the possibility of discussing seminal texts by Rosa – namely central chapters taken from his 2016 opus magnum Resonanz: Eine Soziologie der Weltbeziehung and his 2020 bestseller Unverfügbarkeit – as compared to selected chapters from K.E. Løgstrup’s Den etiske fordring (1956), about the topics of love, trust, friendship, interdependence, and care.
