Beskrivning
The Centre for Retail Research is proud to present the first in a three-part series of webinars on the future of consumption. Researchers and retail practitioners will discuss the future of consumption and retail from their particular perspectives. The future of consumption is closely related to the future of forms of retail. The current modes and levels of consumption – in which retail is responsible for selling high volumes of products and services to consumers – are not sustainable. That's why sustainability will be the theme of this first webinar.
How will consumption develop? What will be important to the consumers of the future? And how will their retail experiences look, sound and feel? Will ecological sustainability be a more important determinant of consumer choice? What about responsible consumption in a broader sense, including social and economic sustainability? These are some of the questions that will be addressed during the webinar.
