The volume no. 44, 2022/II, “Rule of Law and Rechtsstaat. Historical and procedural perspectives” contains eight contributions (also published open access) that derive from the Swedish project (but with an international dimension) «Judges Assessing the Independence of Judges. Historical Foundations and Practical Procedures in Facing the Threats against
the Rule of Law in Europe”4 (2020-2022), coordinated by Martin Sunnqvist, Xavier Groussot and Lotta Maunsbach of the Law Faculty of the University of Lund. These eight contributions are edited by Martin Sunnqvist.
