Beskrivning

The programme "Green Transition for Low-carbon and Resilient Societies" is a
comprehensive programme designed to address the pressing challenges of climate change, energy security, and promote sustainable development. This
multidisciplinary initiative centres on empowering early- and mid-level career
professionals in the public and private sector to drive the change towards a lowcarbon and sustainable future. Transitioning to renewable energy, sustainable
mobility and energy-efficient housing will reduce greenhouse gas emissions thereby mitigating climate change, mitigate air pollution, enhance energy security by reducing fuel imports from Russia, and stimulate economic growth.
The training curriculum covers a range of topics, including the latest advancements in renewable energy technologies, strategies for sustainable urban mobility, and innovative approaches to constructing and retrofitting energy-efficient housing. Particular emphasis is placed on enhancing a holistic understanding about the multiple social, health, economic and security benefits that a green transition will bring along. Furthermore, the programme explores and addresses the synergies that innovative and integrated solutions across the sectors of energy, mobility and housing can bring about. Each participant will engage in a Green Transition Change Project of their choice, aiming to create real-life and long-term impact in their organisations and countries.
