Natural pest control – harnessing response diversity among pests and natural enemies to build predictive models

BECC Workshop -The aims of this 2-day workshop are the following:
(1) produce a draft synthesis and classification of main crop-pest-enemy complexes based on functional traits of life-history, dispersal ability, seasonal timing phenology, diet and habitat specialism, and the effectiveness of pest control activity. This phase will make use of existing empirical databases.
(2) produce a draft conceptual, modular modelling framework making use of the classification above.
