The aim of this workshop was to provide an overview of research-based policy briefs, including formatting and writing conventions, identifying and disseminating to an audience, and evaluating their impact. In this workshop, participants learned about different perspectives on the policy process in different context and fields, as well as discussed best practices, templates, and other things to think about when writing policy briefs. Speakers included Markku Rummukainen (Professor, CEC), Sarah Anne Rennick (Researcher, Center for Advanced Middle Eastern Studies), and Ana Maria Vargas Falla (Director of Research, Swedish International Centre for Local Democracy). This final workshop was a joint collaboration by the SRAs, the LU Agenda 2030 Graduate School, the Pufendorf Instutute Advanced Study Group ‘Wildfires’, and the Sustainability Forum.
