An analysis of six swedish texts from the 1970s and early twenty-first century about shift work, piecework, temporary employment, assembly-line work guided by sociological theories about time perceptions and inequalities regarding the mastering of time and guided by an aesthetic-formal method, applying the methodological concept "narrative time practice", divided in the formal "stylistic time pratice" and the content oriented "narrated time practice". The texts are written by Maja Ekelöf,, Marit Paulsen, Erik Johansson, Kristian Lundberg, Johan Jönsson and Susanna Alakoski.
