Urban Ecologies – Public Sharing and discussionAfter the first research workshop “Urban Ecologies” that took place in November 2020 EIGHT Collective launches a fanzine publication that was made collectively by the workshop participants and organises a public discussion on Thursday 28 January 2021 at 19.00. “Urban Ecologies” focuses on the city of Athens and explores emergent forms and fragmented histories of instituting that took place before and during the years of crisis. Thinking through notions of mutating, immunity and parasitizing in relation to the urban environment the workshop sought to examine the evolving urban ecologies of the city and how they are mapped in the streets of the city.
