In this workshop we will give a short introduction to writing a paper, article or dissertation in LaTeX. We will go through basic formatting, and show you the official LU template for writing a dissertation in LaTeX. If there is interest, we can also show how to use LaTeX to do more linguistically oriented tasks, such as interlinear glossing, syntactic trees, optimality theoretic tableaux, and so on.
