    InfraVis - National infrastructure for data visualization

    Beskrivning

    InfraVis is a Swedish national infrastructure that provides advanced visualization services on research data from any scientific domain. Effective as of 2022, InfraVis aims at supporting Swedish scientific advancement and is funded by the Swedish Research Council.
    Lund University is one of the nine Swedish universities forming the InfraVis constellation that with Chalmers as lead partner got national infrastructure funding from the Swedish Research Council. The InfraVis@LU Team draws upon the breadth of knowledge at LU, with key elements being located in four faculties and is coordinated by the LU Research Infrastructure ‘Correlative Image Processing and Analysis’ (CIPA).

    Users of InfraVis will receive support through:
    1) a national help desk with rapid response times;
    2) in-depth projects addressing specific data and software challenges;
    3) software solutions based on development within connected research groups;
    4) curation of international software and best practice, and
    5) user training in the form of courses, seminars and on-line documentation.

    InfraVis will provide access to software for processing, analysis and visualization.

    Styrning av infrastrukturen

    The InfraVis core management team consists of director Monica Billger (Chalmers), and technical managers; Mario Romero (KTH), Peter Westerdahl (LiU) and Kajsa M. Paulsson (LU). The core management team is supplemented with node coordinators from all 9 participating universities. Anders Sjöström is the scientific coordinator of CIPA and Kajsa M. Paulsson in her role as director fo MiCLU is responsible for the daily management. The board of MiCLU is the CIPA decision making organ.
