A data collection consisting of survey and register data, available for researchers to use for studies.

    Digitala och fysiska samlingar

The Scania Public Health Cohort (SPHC) was established in 1999/2000. At baseline, a postal questionnaire was sent out to 23437 men and women, 18-80 years old. These individuals were randomly selected from the population register, such that equal representation was achieved from all municipalities in the county of Scania, Sweden. Follow-up questionnaires were sent to participants in 2005, 2010, and 2016. In 2010 and 2016, new people were added to the study cohort to ensure enough people in the younger age-brackets.

For the people responding to the questionnaires in 1999/2000, 2005 and 2010, data have been added from the National Patient Register, the Cause of Death Register, the Prescribed Drug Register, and Longitudinal integrated database for health insurance and labor market studies (LISA).
