Solar Simulator Laboratory

Laboratory located in the basement of the A-building. An estimated 10m² lamp gives parallel (reflector solution) rays to an optional object. The irradiation is approximately 1000 W/m², just like the sun. Measures of, for example, solar collectors, solar cells and sun protection can be done.

The solar simulator is itself interesting for many types of projects. Any object less than the area of the lamp can be irradiated. Necessary equipment for thermal measurements etc. are available.

Loggers, temperature sensors, air speed sensors etc. are available.
