Forskning

Anders Heyden received his M.Sc. degree in Engineering Physics in 1989 and Ph.D. in Mathematics in 1995 form Lund University, Sweden. His thesis with the title "Geometry and algebra of multiple projective transformations" was within the area of computer vision. He has been a post-doctoral research fellow, associate professor and is now professor at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Lund University. His current research interests includes image analysis, pattern recognition, machine learning, computer vision for autonomous systems and medical image analysis.
He is currently deputy dean at the engineering faculty with responsibility of research and research education.

He is a senior member of IEEE and an IAPR fellow.  Hi is also member of the Royal Swedish Physiographic Society. He has previously been president of the Swedish Society for Automated Image Analysis (2010-2014), member of the governing board of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (2010-2018).
