My research mainly concerns the evolution of the Milky Way and Milky Way like Galaxies, focusing on both the chemical and kinematic evolution of stars. My main interest is in the radial migration mechanisms of stars, how they are triggered, which stars mainly experienced them, and how strong they are.

I lead projects with observational data as well as using simulations  to compare our results with. I have collaborators accross Europe and the globe to support the efforts in uncovering how especially metal-rich stars arrive in the Galactic neighborhood of the Sun.
