My research concerns various aspects of the intellectual life and cultural history of Britain in the late eighteenth century and Romantic period.  I am currently editing The Cambridge Companion to the Romantic Sublime and, for Oxford World's Classics, Mary and Percy Shelley's History of a Six Weeks' Tour.  I sit on the boards of the John Andrén Foundation, the Olof Sager Foundation, and the Nordic Association for Romantic Studies.
