Forskning
My research concerns various aspects of the intellectual life and cultural history of Britain and Europe in the late eighteenth century and Romantic period. I am currently editing, with Robert W. Rix, a Cambridge Companion to Nordic Romanticism. Recent publications include History of a Six Weeks' Tour (ed. with Anna Mercer; Oxford, 2025); (ed.) The Cambridge Companion to the Romantic Sublime (Cambridge, 2023); and British Romanticism and Denmark (Edinburgh, 2022). I sit on the board of the John Andrén Foundation and of the Olof Sager Foundation, and I am a member of the Editorial Committee of Lund University Press.
