My research lies in the areas of critical organisation studies and degrowth. It addresses crises faced by societies today and explores informed paths for socio-ecological transformation.

I have been writing on the problems with work/employability, corporate violence and the plastic crisis, on the one hand, and focusing on degrowth as a vision for transformation, its political economy, and alternative models of work and organising, on the other.

Together with Alexander Paulsson and Stefania Barca, I co-edited Towards a Political Economy of Degrowth (Rowman & Littlefield, 2019). With scholars and activists from Degrowth Vienna, I am currently working on a book on degrowth and strategies.

In 2017-2020 I was involved in coordination and communication of a Horizon 2020 project called REINVENT, which was devoted to decarbonisation of plastics, paper, steel and meat&dairy sectors.

I am a member of the editorial collective of ephemera: theory & politics in organization – an independent open access journal.

I co-organised the 6th International Degrowth Conference for Ecological Sustainability and Social Equity in Malmö, Sweden (21-25 August 2018), which attracted 800 participants from across the globe.

PhD in Management Studies (Loughborough University, 2013)

MSc in Human Ecology (Lund University, 2018)

MA in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management (Warwick University, 2009)

BSc in Economics and Management (LSE, 2008)

I have acquired extensive teaching experience whilst doing my doctoral studies in the UK and then as a postdoc and lecturer in Sweden, having taught undergraduate, masters and research students. I have taught in the areas of organisation studies, strategic communication, as well as degrowth and sustainability.
