Forskningsgenomslag

The methods I use are interventionist, actively taking part in the entrepreneurial processes I also study. In the past, I founded Förorten i Centrum (2010-2020), a social venture that used the collective production of mural art to work bottom-up with communities burdened by territorial stigmatisation; ; together with researchers and practitioners from Gothenburg University and JOOUST University, I also helped set up three community currencies in Kisumu (Kenya) to better understand the diffusion strategies of grassroots innovations and their economic, social, and political impact on the communities.

Currently, with a group of researchers and practitioners from a European and Global South consortium, I'm part of DECODE, a project piloting Energy-Token Communities that integrate decentralized renewable energy with local digital currencies across sites in Norway, Brazil, Portugal, and Sweden. In this doing, we hope to gain a better understanding of how tokenized monetary systems can embed socio-environmental values in community-scale financial systems and advance energy justice.

Undervisning

I teach on topics related to social innovation, social entrepreneurship and grassroots economics. Currently, I coordinate and teach the master courses "Re-imagining Capitalism", "Navigating the Future" (on the impact of AI on organizational strategy and the socio-politics) and "Entrepreneurial Leadership" as well as the bachelor course "Re-imagining Money for a Sustainable Future".
