I began my doctoral studies 2015 and since then my work has revolved around the insidious peptide Beta-amyloid and its precursor protein APP. My interests lie in understanding synaptic function and dysfunction in the context of Alzheimer's Disease. 

Since I started my doctoral studies I've had the opportunity to teach a few times in the Biomedicine program and I've given a lecture in the Neuroscience preparatory course. I enjoy teaching as I've always viewed it as a chance to learn twice.

I'm very interested in the so called third task and have this and previous years been involved and given lectures at the NMT days, where high-school students are invited to the university to take part in popular scientific lectures and activities. I've also participated in science slams and I'm always happy to discuss science and spread the message.
