Forskning

I am an ecosystem modeller, and particularly interested in ecosystem processes related to carbon cycle, methane, BVOC, dissolved organic matter and hydrology. My current project, funded by FORMAS, focuses on using modelling approach to quantify plant BVOC emisions in the Arctic and soil BVOC emissions in general. I aim to build up a soil BVOC model/module in the existing ecosystem modelling framework based on the current understanding.

My current project involves three universities, which are: Lund University, University of Copenhagen and University of California, Irvine.

I am involved in teaching in two courses:

NGEN02 Ecosystem modelling

NGEN01 Climate Change and its Impacts on the Environment

I currently co-supervise four PhD students: two PhD students in the University of Copenhagen and two in Lund University.
