As a doctoral student at the division for Environmental and Energy System Studies, my research engages with the political economy of climate change and deacarbonisation.

My focus is on issues of political economy, how they are governed and their role in socio-technical systems. Specifically, I seek to address institutions and relations that help enable or hinder sustainability transitions, mostly focusing on the global petrochemical industry.

I have a background in political economy and environmental and development economics and take an interdisciplinary approach to research, drawing on approaches from international political economy, transition studies and beyond.

In previous research I have engaged with the notion of green growth and the role of economic models in policymaking.
