The main focus of our research are thyroid disorders, mainly Graves disease and Graves ophthalmopathy. 

We are part of a national thyrotoxicosis research group (TT12) studying long-term outcomes of a large Swedish cohort of patients with Graves disease and toxic multinodular goiter compared to a healthy control group. We investigate many areas including overall mortality, bone disorders, quality of life, impacts of childhood thyrotoxicosis, psykosocial outcomes, cost-effectiveness of different treatment modalities, among others.
