Kristina Lundblad

I min forskning intresserar jag mig för hur mening skapas i samspelet mellan människan och de medier och dokument genom vilka hon kommunicerar, både i det förflutna och i vår egen samtid. Det svenska tryckets historia intresserar mig också, både med avseende på själva teknikens spridning och funktion och på de böcker och andra trycksaker som producerades. För närvarande driver jag ett internationellt projekt om böcker och politik och jag inleder under året ett individuellt projekt kring tryckkulturens tidiga utveckling i södra Sverige. Tillsammans med min kollega Gunilla Törnvall inleder jag även arbetet med att ta fram en lärobok i bokhistoria och tillsammans med kollegor på Universitetsbiblioteket i Lund arbetar jag fram en bok om det så kallade vardagstrycket, alltså efemärt tryck. 

My research interests are focused on questions about the production of meaning in the interplay between the individual and the graphic techniques and documents through which she communicates, both in the past and in our own times. The history of printing in Sweden also interests me, both in regard to the dissemination and function of the technology itself, and to the books and other printed matter that were produced.

Currently, I’m running an international project on books and politics, and I’m about to launch a project on the early development of print culture in southern Sweden. Together with my colleague Gunilla Törnvall, I start working on an “introduction to book history”-book, and, together with colleagues at the University Library in Lund, I work on a book about ephemera.
