I am a neuroscientist with a background in neuroimmunology and neurodegenerative disease, with particular expertise in microglial biology. I completed my PhD at Lund University, where my research focused on understanding how microglia and Galectin-3 contribute to neuroinflammation and pathological protein accumulation in diseases including Alzheimer’s disease and frontotemporal dementia.

My work combines human samples, cellular and animal models, advanced imaging, biochemical approaches and multi-omics analyses. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Lund University, where I continue to investigate immune mechanisms in neurodegeneration with an increasing focus on translational and therapeutic strategies.
