María Otero Sande

I earned my BSc in Biotechnology at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, where I first discovered the fascinating world of microbes and their diverse applications. This interest in understanding microscopic life led me to pursue a MSc in Molecular Biology with a specialization in Microbiology at Lund University.

Currently, as a PhD student in the Department of Biology at Lund University, I am deepening my knowledge in molecular microbiology by studying polar growth in actinomycetes.
