With a diverse academic and professional journey spanning Egypt, Germany, The United Kingdom, and Sweden, my background encompasses a rich tapestry of experiences in Microbiology and Biotechnology. Throughout my academic journey, my focus has crystallized around the fields of Biocatalysis, Synthetic Biology, and Protein Engineering.

My fascination with the structural and functional architecture of enzymes has led me to explore the captivating areas of rational design, where I seek to enhance the stability and specificity of target enzymes. My passion resonates deeply with the applications of enzymes, particularly within the medicinal and pharmaceutical arenas, propelling me to not only delve into their roles but also to disseminate the latest advancements in this field to fellow researchers and aspiring minds.

My journey has been punctuated by dynamic projects, including the meticulous characterization and strategic mutation of enzymes to unlock their full biotechnological potential. At present, being part of the Division of Biotechnology, my colleagues and I are ardently engaged in an array of projects. Our central pursuit involves crafting a modular microorganism, meticulously primed to catalyze the biosynthesis of novel building blocks from renewable resources.

In parallel, we are dedicated to pioneering enhanced enzymatic efficiency through innovative techniques. The amalgamation of these endeavors reflects our collective commitment to shaping the frontiers of biotechnological possibilities.
