I am a researcher in biomedical signal processing with a focus on ECG analysis for characterizing atrial activity and autonomic modulation during atrial fibrillation (AF). My work involves developing and validating quantitative methods for modeling respiratory-induced f-wave frequency modulation and for assessing autonomic nervous system dynamics using ECG-derived signals. This includes the design of model-based and subspace projection algorithms, component analysis techniques, and spatiotemporal signal modeling approaches. I am particularly interested in the integration of physiological modeling and signal processing to enable non-invasive assessment of cardiac electrophysiology and autonomic regulation, with potential applications in AF progression monitoring and clinical risk stratification.
