Forskning

My research is committed to unleashing the potential of atomistic simulations, employing techniques like Molecular Dynamics, Monte Carlo, and Density Functional Theory, to explore the fascinating world of nano-materials. My primary focus centers on heterogeneous metallic nanoparticles and interfaces, with a strong emphasis on comprehending their diffusion behavior and unraveling the intricate structure-property relationships that underpin their distinctive characteristics. In my research, I integrate atomistic simulations with machine learning methodologies to unveil hidden patterns and trends in the simulation results. 

I am currently involved in several exciting projects:

1. Investigating Diffusion Behavior at Bimetallic Interfaces: This project aims to provide deeper insights into the diffusion processes occurring at the interfaces of bimetallic materials, shedding light on how different metal combinations affect atomic mobility and ultimately influence material properties.

2. Unraveling the Growth Mechanism of Nanowires: By employing atomistic simulations, we are delving into the intricacies of nanowire formation, elucidating the factors and mechanisms that govern their growth. This knowledge is vital for the controlled synthesis of nanowire-based materials with tailored properties.

3. Exploring the Oxidation Mechanism of Metal Nanoparticles: Understanding how metal nanoparticles undergo oxidation is crucial in various fields, from catalysis to materials science. Our research aims to reveal the step-by-step processes involved in metal nanoparticle oxidation, with a focus on the dynamics of atomic transformations.
