Niklas Kotarsky

My research focuses on partitioned solvers for mechanical and thermal fluid-structure interaction where different sub-solvers are used for the different domains. I am particularly interested in improving the computational efficiency through the use of different and adaptive time steps in the sub solvers, which can be achieved by the use of waveform relaxation.
