My PhD research is concerned with the intersection of rapid decarbonisation and social justice in the case of the global steel industry. The reseach is funded through the HYBRIT RP1 project by the Swedish Energy Agency. I was also involved in the H2020 project Reinvent. Methodologically, my research involves scenario development, policy evaluation, techno-economic assessment and modelling, interviews, discourse analysis and qualitative reviews, among others. Central theoretical elements of my work are carbon lock-in, sociotechnical systems change and energy and environmental justice.

I am responisble for a course given at Environmental and Energy Systems Studies at LTH:

- FMIF20/TFRF55 Environmental issues 7.5 credits, an open course (fristående kurs) that provides an overview across global environmental problems, with much space for students to deepen their knowledge on topics of their choice.

On occasions I am also involved in lectures and seminars in other courses around climate, policy, basic materials and industry, and have co-supervised master and bachelor students on these topics.
